Matt Crouch (MB $10,500, DS $15,150)

Matt Crouch finished the 2017 in blistering style averaging 123.4pts from his final 5 games (Incl. Finals), he scored 100pts or more in 64.0% of games & 120pts or more in 24.0% of games. Without his brother (Brad) in the team between Rounds 1-4 last season Matt Crouch averaged 95.0pts per game, that average increased to 110.1pts in the 20 of 21 games when Brad played.

With the addition of Bryce Gibbs in 2018 Matt Crouch should have enough quality support to generate a big number on Friday night, Adelaide average 400.0 Disposals against Essendon from 2 games last season. In what should be a high scoring DFS game you need players that can hit a high ceiling, rostering Matt Crouch even at a high price tag should turn out to be a decent play.

Joe Daniher (MB $7,700, DS $11,300)

Rostering key forwards can be a hit or miss strategy, if they fail then your team is likely dead very quickly. Daniher scroed 100pts or more in 26.1% of games & 120pts or more in 4.3% of games last year, he averaged 87.1pts against Top 6 teams and had a balanced average in wins (85.5) & losses (84.6). Daniher averaged 87.0pts in 2 games (2.5 Ave Goals) against the Crows last season, when he kicked 3 Goal or more last season he averaged 91.0pts per game & when he kicked 4 Goals or more that average increased to 104.6pts per game.

If the Bombers can get enough supply through the midfield to Daniher then he is likely to exceed salary expectation, we are yet to witness the Crows defensive unit minus Jake Lever & there could be a mini opportunity selecting Daniher this week.
