Lachie Whitefield will likely be sidelined for a further 2 weeks as he recovers from surgery, he fractured his collarbone in Round 11 & has missed the last 2 games.

An Isaac Quaynor debut might be on hold for the short term as he popped up on the Magpies injury list today, he is listed as test for this week with a groin issue.

Taylor Adams won’t be ready for at least another 2 weeks with a groin injury, confirmation that Jeremy Howe will miss 2-3 weeks with a calf injury sustained in Round 14.

Matt Scharenberg is close to his AFL return after spending a year out with an ACL injury, coach Nathan Buckley has not lost faith in Scharenberg coming off his third ACL.

The injury list is shrinking at Richmond which could put pressure on a few popular rookies, Trent Cotchin is set to return in Round 15.

With the suspensions to Karl Amon & Dougal Howard Port Adelaide will have at least 2 changes for Round 15, Ken Hinkley provided updates on firstly Tom Rockliff then Willem Drew & Peter Ladhams.

“Unlikely that we would bring any of the boys back in that actually.. missed out last week because of form.. (they) probably will play in the Magpies (SANFL).. But we do face some challenges with selection” Ken Hinkley via @1629senSA.

Port Adelaide: “If we hadn’t had the issues that we had maybe & more likely that he would still play Magpies (SANFL).. He may become an available option for us (in Round 15)” Ken Hinkley on Tom Rockliff via @1629senSA.

“(Willem) Drew has been in outstanding (SANFL) form.. Peter Ladhams has been in outstanding form, we really do want to have another look at big Peter.. there’s opportunities.. that he can play the Dougal type role for us” Ken Hinkley via @1629senSA.

A few concerns for the Cats this week with Gary Rohan (Concussion) questionable for Round 15, Tim Kelly (Ribs) & Luke Dahlhaus (Ankle) should be good to go while Esava Ratugolea is likely to return from a Hamstring injury which will likely result in Darcy Fort making way.

Joel Selwood has been limited by a knee injury for Geelong all year according to coach Chris Scott, Selwood is averaging 79.3pts in AFL Fantasy & 86.3pts in SuperCoach this season.

Fremantle half-forward Michael Walters has been cleared to play in Round 15 after a successful AFL Tribunal challenge tonight, he had his 1 game suspension overturned.

West Coast defender Jeremy McGovern remains suspended for 1 week.

Essendon will be without Jake Stringer (Leg) again this week, Matt Guelfi (Concussion/Ribs) will be a test while Will Snelling could be closing in on a Bomber debut following a strong 29 Disposal performance in the VFL on the weekend.

Izak Rankine (Hamstring) is set to return to football via the NEAFL this week after an injury interrupted first year in the AFL, Touk Miller & Pearce Hanley are set to return for the Suns in Round 15.
