Collingwood Update: 2022 Game plan change

Collingwood senior coach Craig McRae has again stated change is coming in 2022, when he was announced as new coach he stated it was time for change & today he backed up those comments on day one of pre-season. 

“We’ve got a whole new game plan we’re going to implement, some patience will be needed” McRae said.

“We want to pride ourselves on our pressure”

McRae expressed patience was a requirement in his opening press conference of the 2022 season, the Magpies were ranked 18th in the 2021 H&A season with an average of 46.6 Inside 50s.

“We struggled to get the ball inside 50 in the last year in particular, we want to improve that part of our game.”

The Magpies will welcome father/son prospect Nick Daicos to training later this week following the AFL Draft.
