AFL FANTASY ANALYSIS
For so long fantasy coaches have wanted to click ‘Select’ with confidence on Elliot Yeo and 2018 was the year he finally delivered, he averaged a solid 97.9pts from his opening 11 games but finished strongly averaging 115.3pts from his final 11 H&A games including 123.0pts from his final 6 games.
Yeo scored 100pts or more in 60.0% of games & 120pts or more from 28.0% of games in 2018, this was a significant increase compared to 2017.

Yeo was highly popular due to his Defender Status and a lack of quality choices at that position, in 2019 Yeo will be a MID only option and will lose his DEF status.
Based on his strong finish to the 2018 H&A season Yeo would be slightly under priced at Round 1 next season, as a MID only he is now in the mix of other premium Midfield choices which could result in a lower than expected ownership.
For reference Yeo averaged 104.7pts per game with Andrew Gaff last season & 110.3pts without, the high scoring role for Yeo will likely not change next season.
Yeo is worth considering as a low owned MID option, he has a great ceiling.
