AFLRATINGS FANTASY IMPACT: It is still worth monitoring the progress for Whitfield until the start of Sunday’s game against Melbourne in Alice Springs, final teams will be announced an hour prior to game start time with player warm-ups still to be completed. 

Whitfield is averaging 101.3pts (AF) this season, he is scoring at 1.26ppm.

AFLRATINGS FANTASY IMPACT: A week after being tagged for a season-low 59pts (AF) Lachie Whitfield (hamstring) was limited at training and ultimately a late withdrawal on Sunday, his return this week would be welcome news for owners. The Giants play in the penultimate game of Round 12 in Alice Springs, his availability should be tracked right up until the start of the game on Sunday if he’s named in the 23-player team.
