Finding the correct players of value at the start of the H&A season is a critical season long fantasy element, successful teams will have generated a significant amount of cash & points as a result of these selections.
Top 5 Value Plays
1. DAN HANNEBERY
St Kilda | MID | $434K | 2018 Ave: 62.4pts (Incl. Finals)
Hannebery has enormous upside compared to his previous career fantasy history, he has been plagued with injuries over the last 2 years and is on track to complete a near full pre-season at the Saints.
Player Focus: Dan Hannebery
“I had pretty sore groins before the start of the 2017 season and that’s basically where it started” Hannebery said in an interview on SEN late last year.

2. WILL SETTERFIELD
Carlton | MID/FWD | $251K | 2018 Ave: N/A
Setterfield was on the radar last pre-season until he unfortunately suffered a season ending ACL injury, 12 months on and he is on track to be ready for Round 1 & see significant opportunity at the Blues.
Setterfield played only 2 games at the Giants averaging 9.0 Disposals & 2.5 Marks in 2017, he averaged 25.0 Disposals, 4.7 Marks & 7.6 Tackles in the NEAFL in 2017.
Injury Update: Connor Blakely
3. ANTHONY MILES
Gold Coast | MID | $425K | 2018 Ave: 78.0pts
Miles is a proven ball winner that was starved of opportunities at the Tigers, his Round 1 salary is heavily discounted due to his 1 game in 2018.
Gold Coast have an extremely inexperienced midfield, expect Miles to play a significant role in 2019 which should result in a decent bump in average.
Injury Update: Matthew Kreuzer

4. BRAD CROUCH
Adelaide | MID | $524K | 2018 Ave: N/A
Crouch was unable to play a game last season due to OP (Osteitis pubis), he averaged 28.1 Disposals in the 2017 season (Ave: 105.8pts).
Crouch was recently put on a modified training program due to a minor foot injury, it is worth tracking for the remainder of his pre-season.
Injury Update: Ollie Wines
5. NICK HIND
St Kilda | MID | $170K | 2018 Ave: N/A
Hind is on track to debut in Round 1, he likely to find a position in defence as stated by Alan Richardson last week.
Hind averaged 21.6 Disposals & 3.7 Marks in the VFL last season, he is set to generate a substantial amount of cash for your fantasy team.
