Reports from 6PR this morning that Connor Blakely has suffered a significant hamstring injury, Fremantle confirmed just before lunch he was injured at training on Friday will see a surgeon this week.

“At this stage, the medical advice is that Connor will require 12 to 14 weeks to fully recover.” GM of Football, Peter Bell.
Blakely averaged 23.8 Disposals from 13 games last season, he had his 2018 campaign cut short by a knee injury.
Blakely has never completed a full season at Fremantle, he has played in 68.2% of games since the beginning of the 2016 H&A season.

Blakely was on the radar for many fantasy coaches during the pre-season, the loss of Lachie Neale at Fremantle opened the door for a senior type player to move to the top of the midfield depth chart.
