Top 5 Key Forward Value Plays
1. JOSH CORBETT
Gold Coast | FWD | $170K | 2018 Ave: N/A
Gold Coast was able to sign Corbett as a pre-listed special assistance selection late last year, the 22 year old kicked 22 Goals & averaged 7.6 Marks from 9 games in the VFL last season.
Corbett should be able to generate a quick amount of cash for your team when he plays, the lack of experience in the Gold Coast Midfield will likely starve him of opportunities at times.
By The Numbers: Hit Out Kings
2. TOM J. LYNCH
Richmond | FWD | $487K | 2018 Ave: 67.1
After 131 games for Gold Coast Lynch moves to a better environment that should elevate his game, he played only 10 games last season before undergoing knee surgery.
In 2016 Lynch kicked 66 Goals & averaged 86.2pts, he will likely be given an opportunity to spell Toby Nankervis in the Ruck which adds further value to his current salary.

3. JOSH J. KENNEDY
West Coast | FWD | $473K | 2018 Ave: 72.1 (Incl. Finals)
Kennedy struggled for fitness last season which impacted his H&A season average, he timed his Finals preparation well averaging 97.3pts from 3 games.
Off-season shoulder surgery limited the pre-season for Kennedy but he is on track for Round 1, a mid 80’s average is not out of the question.

4. JOE DANIHER
Essendon| FWD | $560K | 2018 Ave: 63.9
After being shut down last season due to OP (Osteitis pubis) Daniher has been managed quite astutely by the Bombers during the pre-season, Round 1 is not an absolute guarantee as yet.
Given his height and arm reach Daniher could benefit quite nicely from the new rules introduced in 2019, it could be time to turn his potential into a dominant season.
Fantasy Impact: 2019 Rule Changes
5. LANCE FRANKLIN
Sydney| FWD | $666K | 2018 Ave: 88.1 (Incl. Finals)
At his absolute peak Franklin would certainly be on the radar for fantasy coaches, injuries restricted his 2018 season where he reportedly failed to train for the majority of the H&A season.
Franklin is another player that would benefit from the new forward rules in 2019, he would need to be absolutely fit at Round 1 to be a consideration for season long fantasy.
