📊 Jayden Short RIC (DS $11,290 DEF, MB $6,200 DEF)

Jayden Short should be in a good spot to exceed salary expectations against Collingwood on Thursday night, he scored 83pts last week at a rate of 0.93 PPM (Points Per Minute).

The opportunity for Short is further enhanced with the injury to Bachar Houli, in 9 games without Houli in 2018 Short was +12.4pts compared to when Houli was in the team.

Short should be highly considered but don’t go overboard, his ownership should increase from the 20% on DS last week against Carlton.

📊 Jamie Elliot COLL (DS $9,260 FWD, MB $6,400 FWD)

Elliot was the best value play on DS for Collingwood in Round 1 scoring 79pts (9.3x Salary) at a rate of 1.07 PPM, with only 1 player (Adam Treloar) scoring 100pts or more the expensive Magpie midfield mostly failed.

The defensive structure for Richmond will remain the same, however without Alex Rance (ACL) there may be an early opportunity to exploit the defence with the possibility that the Tigers over defend Mason Cox as a result of the 2018 Preliminary Final.

Ownership could spike for Cox on Thursday night, fading Cox & moving onto a smaller type forward could provide an edge over other DFS players in tournaments.
