Round 11 was a mixture of success & misfortune for many, Stephen Coniglio set a new career high of 192pts while Rory Sloane was on the wrong end of an early hamstring injury.

The Bye period is now upon us with significant ranking swings quite common over the next 3 weeks, bench depth will be thoroughly tested over this period and with little respite from fresh rookies it could prove to be a difficult Bye period this season.

Patience over the next 3 weeks is quite critical, having a trade plan mapped out for the upcoming few weeks should see you exit the Bye period with an improved ranking.

AFL Fantasy Game Notes: Round 11

Each week of the H&A season there will be a few key notes from each game that may provide some benefit to your AFL Fantasy decisions.

Nth Melbourne v Richmond (MRVL)

Jack Ziebell was back into the midfield in Round 11, he finished with 104pts & was the only Kangaroo player to reach 100pts.

Despite an early knock Bachar Houli (137pts) returned to the game and was a scoring machine, the Richmond usage of Houli in the back half of the ground is made for prime fantasy scoring.

Collingwood v Fremantle (MCG)

Brodie Grundy injured an Ankle early for the Magpies, he was able to complete the game & put up a respectable 112pts.

Brett Bewley had a nice game for the Dockers recording 13 Disposals & 6 Tackles for 61pts, Connor Blakely scored a season high 98pts.

GWS Giants v Gold Coast (GS)

Stephen Coniglio was off the chain early & he didn’t stop the entire game, he scored a career high 192pts.

Jarrod Witts keeps on rolling along, he recorded 15 Disposals & 49 Hit Outs for 110pts.

Geelong v Sydney (GMHBA Stadium)

Patrick Dangerfield (108pts) started forward against the Swans & eventually moved into the midfield, he scored 69pts in the second half & looked quite healthy.

Jake Lloyd (129pts) was on fire late in the game, he scored 85pts in the second half.

Brisbane v Hawthorn (Gabba)

The fantasy game for Stefan Martin (67pts) is disappearing at an alarming rate, he recorded 11 Disposals & 26 Hit Outs narrowly outscoring Archie Smith (57pts).

James Sicily recorded 23 Disposals & 9 Marks for 92pts, there may be an MRO issue for Sicily which owners need to monitor.

Melbourne v Adelaide (TIO Stadium)

Max Gawn was everywhere for the Demons as he recorded 25 Disposals & 30 Hit Outs for 126pts, Angus Baryshaw was solid enough finishing with 91pts.

Brad Crouch continued his outstanding recent form with 127pts, Rory Sloane (30pts) injured his Hamstring early in the game & did not return.

St Kilda v Port Adelaide (Jiangwan Stadium, Shanghai)

Rowan Marshall was outstanding for the Saints as he scored 126pts, Jack Billings was lifeless for the middle part of the game but late a push got him to 64pts.

Travis Boak was exceptional for the Power recording 33 Disposals for 125pts, Robbie Gray (120pts) started in the midfield resting forward at times to kick 3 Goals on top of his 28 Disposals.

Essendon v Carlton (MCG)

Zach Merrett (102pts) was well held early but scored 68pts in the second half to save his day, Dylan Clarke played a pure midfield role recording 23 Disposals & 10 Tackles for 109pts.

Patrick Cripps (63pts) was quite all day recording 11 Disposals, fortunately he recorded 8 Tackles.

West Coast v Western Bulldogs (OS)

Andrew Gaff found enough space recording 36 Disposals for 123pts, Elliot Yeo (80pts) recorded just 3 Tackles this week.

Another week in the midfield for Josh Dunkley & he didn’t disappoint finishing with 119pts, Jack Macrae recorded 26 Disposals to finish on just 69pts.
