Round 15 was meant to be a little easier with a full compliment of players to choose from, wet conditions & untimely injuries impacted several key players across the weekend.
Selecting a captain in Round 15 turned out to be critical with several premium players falling short of expectations for one reason or another, identifying game match-ups & captain selections will likely be decisive in the final 8 games of the H&A season.

Essendon v GWS Giants (MRVL)
Shaun McKernan responded well after being moved into the Ruck finishing with 92pts, Tom Bellchambers (77pts) left the ground in the 3rd Qtr with a Calf injury & is expected to be sidelined for an extended period.
Josh Kelly was the best scoring Giant in Round 15, he recorded 28 Disposals for 120pts.
Geelong v Adelaide (GMHBA Stadium)
Patrick Dangerfield was crunched flying for a mark just before half time, he returned shortly after HT to finish on 92pts. Dangerfield was limited somewhat, one to monitor this week.
Reilly O’Brien is now the No.1 Ruck at Adelaide, he recorded 18 Disposals, 39 Hit Outs, 7 Tackles & 1 Goal for 128pts.
Hawthorn v West Coast (MCG)
Daniel Howe (61pts) was exceptional on Elliot Yeo (87pts) restricting him to 16 Disposals, as a result Luke Shuey was let go & recorded 39 Disposals for 142pts.
Mark Hutchings injured his hamstring & is set to miss some time.

Sydney v Gold Coast (SCG)
Callum Sinclair dislocated his shoulder early in Round 15 & is set to miss some time, the Swans Ruck stocks are very thin with mid-season draftee Michael Knoll now on the radar for playing time.
Opposition coach Stuart Dew didn’t allow Jake Lloyd (48pts) any free ball across half back for the Swans.
Jarrod Witts was able to take advantage of the Sinclair injury recording 55 Hit Outs, he only turned that into 115pts.
Collingwood v Nth Melbourne (MRVL)
Adam Treloar was supreme again recording 40 Disposals for 129pts, Brodie Grundy was solid enough recording 23 Disposals & 44 Hit Outs for 112pts.
First gamer Kyron Hayden (27pts) started in the middle of the ground on Brayden Sier, unfortunately Hayden injured his Achilles midway through the game & did not return.
Jack Ziebell was again solid moving into the midfield at crucial times within the game, he recorded 25 Disposals & 3 Goals for 120pts.
Port Adelaide v Western Bulldogs (AO)
Scott Lycett (140pts) didn’t disappoint in the Ruck for Port Adelaide, he recorded 21 Disposals, 9 Tackles & 42 Hit Outs in extremely wet conditions.
Marcus Bontempelli was supreme for the Bulldogs recording 27 Disposals & 10 Tackles, Jack Macrae stormed home to finish on 135pts.
St Kilda v Richmond (MRVL)
Rowan Marshall has elevated his game to a new level in recent weeks, he recorded 19 Disposals, 9 Marks & 33 Hit Outs for 121pts in Round 15.
Dustin Martin (128pts) was consistent across the entire game, he moved well ensuring he was a part of most attacking chains when the Tigers went forward.
Brisbane v Melbourne (Gabba)
The Lions made a mess of the Demons in the midfield, Dayne Zorko (143pts) recorded 31 Disposal & 3 Goals, Jarryd Lyons (135pts) recorded 33 Disposals & 1 Goal & Lachie Neale (122pts) recorded 38 Disposals.
Max Gawn (50pts) rolled his ankle in the 2nd Qtr & returned after HT but failed to complete the last Qtr.

Fremantle v Carlton (OS)
Nat Fyfe (133pts) was dominant in wet & slippery conditions at Optus Stadium, he recorded 29 Disposals, 8 Marks, 7 Tackles & 1 Goal.
There is no denying the quality that is Sam Walsh, he recorded 30 Disposals & 8 Tackles for 125pts.
