The AFL pre-season is once again upon us, the 2020 Marsh Community Series will be played over a 3 week period commencing on Thursday 20th February & concluding on Monday 9th March.
The West Coast & Essendon game at Mineral Resources Park has been re-scheduled from Friday 28th February to Thursday 27th February, the AFL State of Origin Bushfire Relief game is now scheduled for Friday 28th February at Marvel Stadium.
Draftstars & MoneyBall will both be offering contests over the 2020 Marsh Community Series:
DRAFTSTARS
Draftstars will be offering up a full salary cap game in the Marsh Community Series, individual tourneys will begin from $5-10K guaranteed prize pools and could rise throughout the pre-season depending on the volume of entries.
Draftstars recently added a late player swap to their platform, DFS players will now be able to swap players up until the start of each game in multi-game tournaments.
MONEYBALLÂ
Moneyball have decided to stick with a ‘Pick ’em’ type contest in the Marsh Community Series, all players are priced at $6,600 and will fit under the $60K salary cap.
MoneyBall have kick started the AFL pre-season with a $3,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Once the 2020 H&A season begins, MoneyBall will revert back to a salary cap contest.
