Western Bulldogs
Marcus Bontempelli recorded a team high 81.8% CBA’s in Round 1, Josh Dunkley was also used at a high rate through the midfield but that did not equate to high numbers against the Magpies. Jack Macrae was ranked 3rd at the Bulldogs in Round 1 recording 63.6% of team CBA’s.
Patrick Lipinski was ruled out for Round 1 due to concussion, as a result Bailey Smith & Mitch Wallis increased their midfield usage.

Collingwood
Taylor Adams recorded a team high 86.4% of CBA’s in Round 1, this was closely followed by Scott Pendlebury at 77.3%. Jordan DeGoey recorded 10 of his 13 CBA’s in the first half against the Bulldogs, he recorded a bump in CBA’s in Round 1 (59.1%) compared to his pre-season usage.
Without Adam Treloar (Hamstring) the Magpies used first gamer Tyler Brown at a decent rate through the midfield as he recorded 54.5% of team CBA’s, Jamie Elliot was used at the opening bounce of each Qtr.
