Touk Miller recorded a team high 72.2% CBA’s in Round 1, Hugh Greenwood provided stability at centre bonces for the Suns as he recorded 61.1%. First gamer Matthew Rowell recorded 27.8% CBA’s, this was consistent with his 2020 Marsh Community Series usage.

Gold Coast were well beaten at centre clearances, the Power recorded 12 centre clearances to just 5 from the Suns.

Gold Coast used 8 players at CBA’s in the first half against Port Adelaide, in the second half that was reduced to 6 players but with only 2 Goals kicked in the second half of this game opportunities were certainly limited.

Travis Boak recorded a team high 88.9% CBA’s in Round 1, he was closely followed by Dan Houston at 83.3% & Tom Rockliff at 72.2%.

The Power were well in control of this match from the midway part of the first Qtr, there was no need for Power coach Ken Hinkley to change up what was working so well in the first half.

Connor Rozee (33.3%) added some genuine speed at CBA’s against Gold Coast, that should be well utilised by Hinkley for the remainder of 2020.
