Brisbane defender Marcus Adams is set to undergo surgery, he injured his foot while training during the AFL shutdown period.
Adams is set to be sidelined for a minimum of 4-6 weeks, he is likely to miss the re-start of the AFL season in mid-June.
Adams averaged 10.5 Disposals. 5.1 Marks & 1.2 Tackles from 10 games in 2019, he recorded 5 Disposals & 1 Mark in Round 1 this season.

AFL FANTASY TAKE
The absence of Adams when footy returns will open up an opportunity in the Lions defence, also in the mix for Round 2 will be Grant Birchall who was a late withdrawal against the Hawks in Round 1.
Adams is not considered an option for season long fantasy.
