Western Bulldogs

The Bulldogs were extremely flat in Round 1 but Jack Macrae WB (DK $8,300, DS $16,730) still managed a respectable 84pts, we are still early in the H&A season with this game shaping up as a must win for the Bulldogs which could result in a Jack Macrae ceiling game.

Macrae was the No.1 ranked midfielder in the AFL last season scoring 120pts* or more in 43.5% of games, the Saints successfully sent Jack Steele to Marcus Bontempelli in a win late last year and are likely to do so again leaving Macrae mostly alone to get to work.

Sydney

Luke Parker (DK $7,900, DS $14,810) was very impressive in the pre-season & all the way back to Round 1, his elite scoring could be a feature if the Swans were to get a hold of the Bombers at the SCG on Sunday.

The Swans are narrow favourites against the Bombers but the head to head odds have shifted in favour of the home team all week, last year Parker averaged 107.8pts* from winning games compared to 93.2pts* in losing games and should be a must consider.

Value

Jye Caldwell GWS (DK $6,300, DS $3,300) scored 72pts* in his AFL debut last season, the Giants roster is quite deep which has restricted the young Giant from playing more games.

Caldwell was a prolific ball winner in the second tier NEAFL competition last season, while other elite players at the Giants will command the ball against the Kangaroos in Round 2 Caldwell should see more than enough to crush his salary.
