Western Bulldogs midfielder Josh Dunkley has been sidelined with an ankle injury, he is set to be sidelined with what has been described as a syndesmosis injury.

UPDATED: It is expected Dunkley will miss at least 6 weeks according to Bulldogs media on Monday.

The injury to Dunkley opens up a genuine midfield spot at the Bulldogs, Jack Macrae was used at 60.0% of CBA’s in Round 2 which will likely increase against the Swans this week.

Dunkley is a trade out in season long fantasy with an extended sidelined period.
