Geelong

After a poor start in Round 1 Patrick Dangerfield GEE (DK $6,900, DS $13,840) has averaged 86.3pts from his last 3 games, the Cats are -20.5 favourites at GMHBA Stadium in expected cool conditions to the improving Suns.

Dangerfield is yet to breakout for a ceiling game this season, the Suns will put time into him through the midfield but moving forward has never been an issue ticking the fantasy scores over.

If the Cats win big, Dangerfield could be a slate breaker.

West Coast

The role for Andrew Gaff WC (DK $9,000, DS $17,570) is conducive to good scoring, he’ll play that outside wing role being the link between defence & the half forward line.

The Gaff short kicks when the Eagles move forward do have the potential to be returned in quick succession creating easy +6’s, even more so in blowout games when the Eagles are chewing up clock.

The salary is high enough for Gaff where ownership will start to thin out, a ceiling game is in play in expected fine conditions at Metricon Stadium.

Value

The match-up & clear role for Nic Naitanui WC (DK $5,300, DS $11,170) on Saturday against Sydney is quite appealing, he will go head to head as solo Ruck against Hayden McLean due to injuries to Callum Sinclair & Sam Naismith.

The risk for selecting Naitanui will be his limited minutes, Eagles coach Adam Simpson has flipped in recent weeks playing a dual ruck set-up but as it stands Naitanui will be mostly running solo on Saturday.

He scored a season high 94pts in Round 3 against Oscar McInerney & Archie Smith for Brisbane, this match-up is better!
