Brisbane
Lachie Neale (DK $9,700, DS $19,090) has been in outstanding form this season averaging 105.4pts, he has scored 100pts or more in 6 of 8 games with his high midfield usage.
The salary for Neale is extremely high, as a result expect ownership to be less than expected considering the favourable match-up against Essendon.
If you can find enough value plays Neale is still a worthwhile consideration especially with his enormous ceiling.
Carlton
The scores for Patrick Cripps (DK $6,900, DS $14,750) have fluctuated wildly this season having to deal with opposition attention, given the scrutiny that has been made this week it may provide an opportunity for him to play with a little more freedom as well as the match-up against the Hawks midfield.
Last year the Hawks sent Daniel Howe to Cripps but he still managed to score 99pts*, given a little more freedom on Friday a ceiling game may be in play.
Many will shy away from Cripps due to his low scoring floor, but he is a decent tourney play especially if ownership ignores mostly him.

Matthew Kennedy (DK $5,500, DS $9,690) has returned to the Carlton team in recent weeks & moved into the midfield rotation, he scored a season high 91pts in Round 8 (Season Ave: 66.7pts).
Kennedy did start forward last week but was used at 40.9% of team CBA’s, he has the ability to hit the scoreboard to keep the scores ticking over.
The salary increase in Round 9 is unlikely to move ownership significantly away from Kennedy on Friday, expect ownership to be moderate-high.
