Andrew Gaff (DK $8,500, DS $17,300) popped for 126pts against the Magpies last week in a blowout victory for the Eagles, he recorded 26 Disposals, 11 Marks & 4 Tackles along with the 1 Goal.
Gaff will assume mostly an outside midfield role on Saturday night against Geelong, it is likely that the Cats will send Cam Guthrie to Tim Kelly to try to suppress his output as an inside midfielder.
If left unattended a ceiling game for Gaff is definitely in-play, he’s the highest priced midfielder on Saturday which should keep ownership to an acceptable level.
Geelong
An early exit from the game in Round 6 (11pts) has compressed the salary for Mitch Duncan (DK $7,200, DS $14,190), he has averaged 91.5pts from his other 6 games this season mostly playing an outside midfield role for the Cats.
Geelong will likely use Duncan up & down the wing as a connector to the forward line from defence.
With ownership likely to be spread over a variety of other midfielders seemingly in better match-ups Duncan could be under owned compared to his recent form & value on Saturday, he needs to be highly considered for your line-ups.

Lachie Fogarty (DK $3,800, DS $7,500) returned to the Geelong team last week scoring 65pts, he recorded 13 Disposals, 1 Mark & 6 Tackles with opportunities through the midfield.
The role for Fogarty is likely to be similar again in Round 9, he was used at 16.7% of team CBA’s against the Dockers in wet conditions on Monday night.
The salary increase for Fogarty isn’t likely to deter many on Saturday night, expect ownership to be high.
