This season Saints coach Brett Ratten removed Jack Steele STK (DK $8,700, DS $16,300) from tagging duties to become more of a ball winner, he has averaged 22.4 Disposals, 3.9 Marks & 5.3 Tackles in 2020 with a very high usage as an inside midfielder.Â
Steele has averaged 100.0pts from his last 4 games, he should thrive in what should be a highly contested game early.
The difficulty in selecting Steele will be managing a salary cap that likely includes premium GWS midfielders, as a result expect ownership to be lighter than expected.
GWS Giants
The centre bounce usage will likely be trimmed for Josh Kelly GWS (DK $8,000, DS $16,150) on Friday night but that won’t inhibit his ability to find plenty of ball on the outside.
Kelly has averaged 89.7pts from his last 11 games, he has scored 80pts or more in 7 of those games including a season high 119pts in Round 8.
The GWS midfielders will be popular on Friday night, expect ownership for Kelly to be strong.

Tom Green GWSÂ (DK $4,900, DS $8,850)Â was outstanding in contested situations last week, he recorded 30 Disposals, 2 Marks & 3 Tackles for 86pts.Â
Stephen Coniglio comes back into the Round 18 team for the Giants which may cap the centre bounce usage for Green on Friday night but given his low salary he won’t need high usage in order to exceed value.
Not many would have missed the Green score last week, expect ownership to be through the roof.
