Adelaide defender Daniel Talia has undergone knee surgery this week, he initially required arthroscopic surgery following the Round 16 game against GWS.

The recovery period for Talia is expected to be 4-6 weeks, he is expected to be available for the start of 2021 pre-season.

Talia averaged 8.9 Disposals, 3.4 Marks & 1.1 Tackles in 2020.

AFL FANTASY TAKE

Talia averaged 36.8pts from an injury interrupted 14 games in 2020, he recorded a season high of 73pts in Round 7 against St Kilda. 

There was a bit of interest for Talia in AFL Fantasy classic early in 2020 based on his starting price, that interest will likely exist again for the start of the 2021 season if he is fully fit.

Talia averaged 56.6pts* in 2019, he has a career season high average of 64.6pts* in 2016 (Including Finals).
