“To be perfectly honest my PCL was an issue for the final 5 weeks that I played to a point where I’m seeing the surgeon tomorrow here in Melbourne just to talk things through, because it’s still a little bit dodgy at the moment” Max Gawn via @RSN927 on Tuesday.
Gawn did not undergo surgery at the time of the PCL injury in early August, Melbourne will likely provide an update if required.
Gawn averaged 15.9 Disposals, 4.5 Marks, 2.5 Tackles & 32.7 Hit Outs in 2020.

AFL FANTASY TAKE
Gawn was able to perform at a high level in 2020 despite a medial strain to his left knee in January & a PCL injury to his right knee in August, he averaged 98.9pts from 14 of 17 games.
Tracking the Gawn PCL news leading into the 2021 pre-season will be necessary, a clear run leading into Round 1 will likely increase the ownership as a top tier ruck option in AFL Fantasy classic.
