Elliot Yeo is progressing slowly from a groin injury, he missed the Eagles final 7 H&A games in the 2020 season & the Elimination Final against Collingwood at Optus Stadium.Â
Yeo was given every opportunity to recover in time for finals last season but the decision was made late in the H&A season to rule him out for the remainder of the year & focus on the 2021 season.Â

West Coast resumed training today, Yeo was running laps away from the main group & moving “OK” according to @FootyRhino.
It’s likely the Eagles will remain patient with Yeo, as a result he may miss one or even both 2021 pre-season games.
With 10 weeks remaining prior to the start of the H&A season West Coast are yet to provide a long term outlook for the start of the season for Yeo.

AFL FANTASY TAKE
Yeo averaged 71.2pts from 10 games in 2020, he scored a season high 104pts in Round 2 against Gold Coast.Â
The centre bounce usage for Yeo was extremely high, in his 10 games in 2020 he was used at a rate of 82.5%.

With the Eagles likely to take a slow road to full recovery & have Yeo ready to hit the 2021 finals series the early part of the season may cause some volatility in scoring & a slight adjustment to West Coast centre bounces (Just be aware when he is back to full fitness the high centre bounce usage rate will return).
Yeo is a pass in AFL Fantasy classic to begin the season, there is the chance his salary make take a hit early which may provide an opportunity to target him at a cheaper price tag in-season.Â
Expect a slide in draft rank for Yeo in draft leagues.
