Jayden Hunt is set for a change in role this season, a flip back to defence where he played early in his career is likely.
During pre-season match simulation Hunt has been playing a half-back role as confirmed by @cleary_mitch this week, his speed would be an asset for the Demons out of defence.

AFL FANTASY TAKE
Hunt averaged 35.8pts from 6 games in 2020, he scored a season high 54pts against Essendon in Round 18 kicking 4 Goals.Â
The switch to a half-back role for Hunt will elevate his fantasy average, if it’s not a lock down defensive role then there is definite upside scoring potential.Â
Hunt averaged 72.5pts in 2017 playing in defence, he scored 100pts or more in 18.2% of games scoring a season high 129pts. He scored 70pts or more in 45.5% of games, remember that was just his second season at AFL level.Â

Hunt is a watch over the pre-season for scoring rate & a clear indication on role, if he’s playing a half-back role with a willingness from team mates to get him the ball then there is potential in AFL Fantasy classic. Based on his Round 1 starting salary Hunt is value with the change in role.Â
Hunt is worth a late round selection in 10 team standard draft leagues.Â
