Jarryn Geary will be sidelined for an extended period, he fractured his fibula at training on Friday. 

Scans revealed the break to his left leg, the Saints confirmed it was a clean break.

St Kilda COO Simon Lethlean was hopeful that Geary would resume running around the 6 week mark, he will miss the start of the 2021 H&A season.

Geary averaged 42.2pts in 2020, he scored a season high 70pts in Round 14 against Melbourne.

Geary was used in a number of roles last season including as a lock down forward & as a defender, anticipate a number of roles including shutdown roles when he returns.
