The role Fraser Rosman may be used in is noteworthy for fantasy, he was selected by Melbourne at pick 34 in the 2020 AFL Draft.

Demons ruck Max Gawn was quite positive when talking about Rosman on Tuesday morning via RSN, he’s a player worth keeping an eye on as he develops in his first year on an AFL list.

Rosman has elite endurance suited to a wing type role, his height (194cm when drafted) will make him a difficult match-up for opposition teams.

“Fraser Rosman is an exciting prospect.. he plays on a wing, he takes some marks & he can run”

“He won our time trials relatively comfortably” Max Gawn.

Although Rosman is quite raw, there is genuine optimism at Melbourne for his long term prospects.

AFL FANTASY TAKE

Rosman is certainly one player to track in 2021, if he develops quickly then we may see him at AFL level. He is one of a number of players the did not compete in 2020 due to Covid.

The role Rosman is likely suited to will be on a wing, he certainly has the attributes to move forward to become am option Inside 50.

The skill set for Rosman will be an added benefit as he tries to breakthrough for a debut in 2021.

It’s worth placing Rosman on your watch-list over the pre-season & throughout the year, his scoring ability should be enough to generate a substantial profit in AFL Fantasy classic if he can put an initial group of games together.

Rosman is a pass in 10 team standard draft leagues, he’s certainly worth taking a flyer on in keeper leagues.
