The injury history for De Goey is somewhat noteworthy from a fantasy perspective, he is an impact player & very important to the Collingwood team. Can he sustain a full season with a high increase in centre bounce usage?
De Goey seems to be appropriately priced at Round 1 based on his previous scoring history, the upside will come from a sharp increase in midfield usage this season.
He’s worth registering on your watch-list for now in AFL Fantasy classic, but 100% health status is a requirement.
De Goey is worth taking a shot on if he’s still available once through the midway point of 10 team standard draft leagues.Â
