Adam Treloar is currently on a restricted training program, he is currently dealing with calf tightness as confirmed by the Bulldogs today.

Treloar is expected to return to full training in the next fortnight, he remains on track to be available for Round 1.

“With Adam’s history of soft tissue injuries, we’re taking a conservative approach with him at this stage of the pre-season”

AFL FANTASY TAKE

Treloar averaged 83.1pts from 10 games in 2020, he scored a season high 119pts against Geelong in Round 7.

The Bulldogs acquired Treloar in the off-season, he joins a very deep & highly talented midfield group.

The latest setback for Treloar at this stage isn’t likely to rule him out of Round 1, the angle at starting Bulldogs midfielders due to a narrow centre bounce rotation (because of the Treloar injury) doesn’t have much promise long term from a fantasy perspective.

Remember the H&A season is 22 games per team in length.

If you are looking to start Treloar in AFL Fantasy classic then his return to training needs to be monitored, he likely slides quite a few spots in 10 team standard draft leagues.
