AFL FANTASY TAKE

Shuey averaged 68.5pts from 13 games in 2020, he scored a season high 116pts against Melbourne in Round 1.

He scored 75pts from 54% game time against Fremantle in the AAMI Community Series game on Sunday.

The injury likely opens the door for at least one opportunity through a premium midfield position at the Eagles early in the season, Elliot Yeo has also been slow in his pre-season preparation with a groin injury.

Liam Duggan & Dom Sheed are expected to see an increase in midfield usage early along with Tim Kelly (expected to be available for Round 1 with a thumb injury), Jack Redden should also see high usage along with the potential for a youngster to enter the Eagles team.

Shuey is a pass in AFL Fantasy classic at Round 1, he slides significantly in 10 team standard draft leagues.
