Injury Update: James Harmes

James Harmes has been sidelined for an extended period, he fractured his wrist against Fremantle in Round 1.

He underwent an MRI this week which confirmed a crack in his scaphoid via Melbourne media.

Harmes is expected to miss at least 6 weeks.

Melbourne will likely provide an update on his rehabilitation progress in the upcoming period.

Harmes recorded 20 Disposals & 6 Marks in Round 1, he scored 86pts.

The injury to Harmes likely solidifies James Jordon in the Melbourne team, he was impressive in his AFL Debut against Fremantle recording 15 Disposals (80pts).

Jack Viney is set to return to the line-up, that will likely soak up the James Harmes centre bounce usage & more. Viney was used at 72.3% of centre bounces last season (Melbourne Rank 2).
