Melbourne
It was a relatively quiet week for Max Gawn in Round 1, he struggled to find his sweet spot in general play which impacted his scoring output.
The match-up for Gawn in Round 2 is very enticing, he should be able to dominate against Paul Hunter at the ruck position & also be able to take advantage of his size advantage around the ground.Â
The salary is high, ownership may be moderate due to a low Round 1 score.Â
Essendon
Andrew McGrath was outstanding in Round 1 recording 33 Disposals for 141pts, he was used at 46.7% of centre bounces.Â
McGrath has the ability to find space & work through the midfield in general play, despite Essendon being heavy underdogs he still is in a decent spot to hit another ceiling game.Â
Many will be attracted to the high Round 1 score, ownership should be moderate.Â

Value
Willem Drew will see midfield usage again in Round 2, he was used at 66.7% of centre bounces last week.
Drew recorded 17 Disposals & 11 Tackles in Round 1.
Based on his salary he is a reasonable chance to exceed value, ownership will likely be moderate to strong.Â
