“Although frustrating for Scott, this is a minor setback,”
“Given his previous injury we are being cautious. He will need a minimal amount of time off his legs but will be fine to go when the program returns to training in the new year.” Collingwood GM of Football Graham Wright.
Pendlebury averaged 23.2 Disposals, 3.7 Marks & 3.8 Tackles from 18 games in 2021.
Fantasy Impact: Scott Pendlebury averaged 84.4pts from 18 games in 2021, he recorded a season high 110pts in Round 3 against Brisbane.
The injury isn’t considered serious so he’s likely to be ready for Round 1, but he does miss the last few weeks of training prior to the end of the year.

Pendlebury was being used out of defence early in pre-season training, with a full squad in the new year available it will be interesting to see where his specific role is under new senior coach Craig McRae.
He was used at 58.3% of team centre bounces in the 18 games he played in 2021.
Pendlebury will likely have low ownership at Round 1 in season long fantasy, he will be 34 in early January plus it is likely at some stage McRae will need to establish a new midfield structure.
He’s likely a pass, his scoring output could be volatile.
He is likely to slide in single season draft leagues, his ADP could be somewhere around mid-round.
