Jack Steele will lead St Kilda as solo captain in 2022, Jarryn Geary recently stood down as co-captain with Steele.
The Saints made the leadership announcement on Friday.

St Kilda senior coach Brett Ratten said Steele is ready to take on the role as sole captain in 2022.
“We all saw it last year, but the way Jack was able to lead by example and bring his teammates along with him was outstanding,”
“Although he was forced to lead the side on his own in Jarryn’s absence, he really shouldered the responsibility without taking a backwards step.” Ratten said.
St Kilda play Collingwood in Round 1 at Marvel Stadium on March 18.
