Aidan Corr will be a welcome addition to the Nth Melbourne defence in 2022.
He played only two games last year following an injury interrupted first season at the Kangaroos after switching over from GWS.
He will be part of the key defensive structure at the Kangaroos this season which will also include Josh Walker and Ben McKay.
Nth Melbourne captain Jack Ziebell provided an update on the return of Corr and the defensive structure this week on SEN.

“He’s essentially a news recruit for us, he’s been lucky enough to do the whole pre-season and we’re looking forward to getting him back into our 22 and back into our back six.”
“He’s a real general down there the way he sets up behind the ball, his intent and hard edge he plays with is something we probably missed over the last 12 months.”
“So for him to come back and team up with Ben McKay who’s an elite key defender and he’s still relatively young, and Josh Walker as well I think those three key posts down there are going to be really hard for opposition forwards to try and get through.” Ziebell said.

Fantasy Impact: The key defensive structure at the Kangaroos appears to be set for Round 1, unfortunately Matt McGuinness wasn’t named so it may be a waiting game for him from a fantasy perspective.

Aidan Corr is likely a pass at Round 1 in season long fantasy, his staring salary could be value but in a key defensive position scoring is likely to be volatile.
He’s a pass in single season draft leagues.
