Zach Merrett kicked off his 2022 campaign recording 39 disposals against Geelong last week, he should see strong midfield usage along with a high number of centre bounces.

Merrett can win plenty of ball on the outside, his ceiling could be quite high if left unattended against the Lions. 

Expect moderate ownership.

Lachie Neale recorded 31 disposals and 7 marks against Port Adelaide last week, he was used at a team high 84.0% of centre bounces. 

Essendon should represent a favourable match-up for Neale on Saturday, he does have a decent ceiling in optimal conditions. 

Expect moderate ownership.

Rory Atkins comes back into the Gold Coast team as a late call up, he is the strongest value for Saturday. 

He’ll likely spend time on the outside in a wing/half-back type role, his scoring output should be decent. 

Expect moderate to possibly strong ownership.
