2022 AFL Fantasy: Round 7 Top 5 Players Under $300K

AFL Fantasy News: Round 7 of the 2022 AFL H&A season begins on Friday night, @aflratingsPete lists the Top 5 Players Under $300K for Round 7.

The order takes into account historical performance, ability to make a substantial profit, opportunity and scoring output in their actual team role plus subjective and balanced input.

The ability to remain best 22 is also a strong consideration.

This list will assist in identifying players to target ahead of Round 7, it may adjust based on team selection & availability.

Final updates (if any) will occur on Friday afternoon.

TOP 5 AFL FANTASY PLAYERS UNDER $300K – (FINAL UPDATE)

1. Sam Hayes

Hayes settled down and had more of an impact in his second game at AFL level last week albeit against an under strength West Coast ruck combination.

He recorded 11 disposals and 47 hit outs, in quality match-ups his scoring output looks solid.

His current break even (BE) is difficult to ignore, expect a very strong ROI with Lycett sidelined for an extended period.

2. Greg Clark

Clark will make his AFL debut on Friday night, he was selected at pick 62 in the 2021 AFL Draft.

The 24 year old has a mature type body and plays through the midfield, he was on track to debut in Round 1 before being sidelined with a shoulder injury.

He should be used through the midfield at a decent rate on debut, if he can impact early in his career that could solidify his position in the team for the short to medium term.

3. Luke Strnadica

Strnadica was impressive on debut last week splitting time in the ruck at West Coast, he recorded 11 disposals and 9 hit outs.

He was used at 38.5% of centre bounces last week.

Another solid performance in Round 7 could shift his position in the West Coast ruck depth chart for the short to medium term, he certainly has the opportunity to perform on Friday night.

The ROI could be strong if he can hold his spot over the next few weeks.

4. Robbie McComb

McComb was quite decent last week recording 11 disposals, 2 marks and 4 tackles.

He was able to impact from limited opportunities, he played predominately forward but most of his disposals were outside F50.

A move further up the ground will provided a decent and consistent scoring output.

Early signs are good enough for him to hold down a position in the short term to medium term.

5. Malcolm Rosas

Rosas was excellent in his opening 2 games, after hitting the scoreboard multiple times in Round 3 he followed that up with 7 tackles in Round 4.

He did not play last week with a calf concern, this increases the risk here, however based on his current break even (BE) there is still the possibility he provides a decent ROI.

Rosas does play a small forward role, the scoring may be inconsistent.

*Miller Bergman would be a considerations if he plays this week.
