AFL News: Max Gawn has been sidelined for an extended period.
He injured his ankle against Collingwood on Monday.
Gawn has been sidelined with a syndesmosis injury, surgery is not required however there is an expectation that he could miss 3-5 weeks.

GM of AFL Performance Alan Richardson provided an update on Wednesday.
“Max had a left ankle concern during the game and, while he managed to battle through, was quite sore afterwards,” he said.
“He had some scans on Tuesday, which unfortunately showed some ligament damage.
“Max will be in a moonboot until early next week and will then begin his structured rehabilitation program.” Richardson said.
Daniel Turner will also be sidelined for approximately 4 weeks after sustaining facial fractures in the same game, surgery is required.
