AFL Trade News: Tim Taranto has joined Richmond.

Richmond will receive Tim Taranto.

GWS will receive picks 12 and 19.

Taranto was selected at pick 2 in the 2016 AFL Draft by GWS.

Fantasy Impact: Tim Taranto averaged 95.3pts from 16 games in 2022 at GWS, he scored a season high 128pts in Round 1 against Sydney.

He averaged 25.5 disposals, 3.6 marks, 4.8 tackles and 0.4 goals.

Taranto scored 100pts or more in 43.8% of games, he scored 120pts or more in 25.0% of games.

His move to Richmond should see strong and consistent usage through the midfield.

Taranto is an option to start in season long fantasy with his strong scoring output, he has had injury concerns over his career but did complete all 24 games back in 2021 at the Giants.

He’s an option to target just beyond the early selections in standard draft leagues.
