Sheezel is a dynamic forward that can have high impact in the forward line.

Nth Melbourne List and Recruiting Manager Brady Rawlings provided a brief update after Sheezel was selected.

“Obviously he’s a creative forward, we’ve seen him play in the midfield as well and be able to get his hands on the ball at stoppage.”

“But as a forward he’s very creative, he marks it above his head really well and he’s good at ground level.” Rawlings said.

Sheezel also averaged 14.5 disposals, 3.3 marks, 2.5 tackles and kicked 8 goals from 4 games in the 2022 U18 National Championships.

Fantasy Impact: Harry Sheezel will add a very different dynamic to the Nth Melbourne forward line with his game awareness and ability to hit the scoreboard.

He has a rare ability to find an opening on goal and has excellent vision to find a team mate in a better position forward of the ball. He is very strong at ground level in congested situations.

The short term fantasy prospects appear to be solid, he should see multiple opportunities at AFL level in 2023. His fantasy scoring output could be volatile when he plays forward with the likelihood of being closely targeted by quality defenders.

His long term prospects are likely to be better as he matures and adjusts to AFL level, there is the possibility he can play through the midfield down the track.

Season long fantasy: Sheezel is a consideration at Round 1 if he completes a solid pre-season, he should see plenty of opportunities at AFL level however his scoring output could vary wildly week to week.

Single season draft leagues: He’s likely a pass in single season draft leagues.

DFS: He should be a target in favourable match-ups.
