“Bailey is a powerful player but also has extremely strong character and comes with great leadership qualities.” Burns said.

Fantasy Impact: Bailey Humphrey will add quality depth to the Gold Coast forward line as well as being able to play through the midfield.
He has excellent game awareness and an ability to evade traffic, his strength and power is of high quality. He is strong in marking contests and can hit the scoreboard.
The short term fantasy prospects appear to be decent, he’ll likely play majority forward early in his career and should see multiple opportunities at AFL level in 2023. His fantasy scoring output could be volatile as a forward.

His long term prospects are likely quite decent as he develops, he certainly has plenty of attributes that can adapt to a midfield role. A midfield/forward split role is quite likely longer term.
Season long fantasy: Humphrey is a consideration at Round 1 if he can force his way into the Gold Coast team, he’s likely to play majority forward with possible midfield usage in 2023 which could lead to inconsistent scoring. He was sidelined by a knee injury in 2022.
Single season draft leagues: He’s likely a late round speculative option in single season draft leagues.
DFS: He’s a target in optimal matchups especially at a low entry level salary.
