Fantasy Impact: Elijah Hewett will add depth to the midfield at West Coast.
He has strong hands in marking contests and an ability to find open space to become a target.
The short term fantasy prospects are likely good, West Coast have flagged an intention to play youth which should provide multiple opportunities in 2023. It is likely he’ll play across half-forward early in his career.

His long term prospects are also likely quite good, he could settle and work his way into a pure midfield role which should provide a consistent fantasy output.
Season long fantasy: Elijah Hewett is a target when he breaks through for a debut, his fantasy scoring rate could be somewhat volatile in a half-forward role but he’s also likely to get plenty of opportunities at AFL level.
Single season draft leagues: He’s likely a pass in single season draft leagues unless he moves into a pure midfield role. Keep an eye on his minutes through the midfield in 2023.
DFS: He’s a target early especially in optimal scoring conditions and at a low entry level salary.
