Christian Petracca
Petracca will again be used in a similar mid/fwd role this season. His centre bounce numbers should be quite solid and he will be looking for opportunities to hit the scoreboard when forward. Senior coach Simon Goodwin has previously maintained a narrow group at centre bounces which provides confidence Petracca will still be used through the middle of the ground and be extremely effective at stoppages.
A healthy Petracca can put up a very high average.
Connor Rozee
A poor start to the 2022 season for Port Adelaide allowed for change at round five. One of the changes was Rozee into the middle of the ground which did result in a spike in his fantasy scoring output. Senior coach Ken Hinkley is likely to hold Rozee at centre bounces which provides an opportunity from a fantasy perspective to produce strong numbers in 2023.
Certainly on the radar.

Marcus Bontempelli
With the departure of Josh Dunkley to Brisbane the centre bounce opportunities for experienced inside mids could be increased in 2023 for players such as Bontempelli. After an injury impacted 2022 there is a chance we see a spike in fantasy scores this season from Bontempelli. He’s currently enjoying a clean and healthy pre-season.
Definitely one to consider.
Ollie Wines
Off-season knee surgery for Wines has delayed his entry into full training over pre-season. He is expected to return soon but it needs to be acknowledged as an interrupted summer. Wines will be used at a strong rate at centre bounces for Port Adelaide and provide a solid fantasy scoring average.
Injury interrupted pre-season is a concern.
Tom Green
The opportunity for Green to take control as a clearance bull in the GWS midfield is strong. Tim Taranto and Jacob Hopper have switched clubs which is likely to provide additional centre bounces for Green this season. Having just turned 22 there is a chance he can post a very strong fantasy average in 2023.
Definitely one to consider.
