“We think he will be a valuable addition to our midfield group with his running ability and flexibility to play inside and out.” Gardiner said.
Jordon averaged 13.1 Disposals, 2.6 Marks & 2.1 Tackles from 18 games at Melbourne in 2023..
Melbourne will receive end of Round 2 compensation (currently pick 39).
Fantasy Impact
James Jordon averaged 49.1pts from 18 games at the Demons in 2023, he scored a season-high 97pts in Round 3 against Sydney.
Jordon averaged 72.1pts from 22 games in 2022.
He has the ability to play an inside midfield role and can be used on the outside in a wing position. Sydney senior coach John Longmire has previously preferred versatility in his playing group.
Unless Jordon is identified as a clear inside midfielder at Sydney over the pre-season he is unlikely to be an option at Round 1 in season-long classic fantasy.
