Rehab group: As many as 11 players in the rehab/limited training group which included Ben McKay, Sam Draper, Jayden Davey, Jake Stringer, Peter Wright, Nik Cox, Xavier Duursma and a host of younger players building their fitness base.Â
Sam Draper looks a long way off full fitness returning from groin surgery following the 2023 season, his pace was more like a very light jog as he continues his rehab.Â
Ben McKay did very little apart from some light running. Xavier Duursma was running at good speed on oval no.2.

Andrew McGrath played in a defensive role during match simulation.
Jordan Ridley and Mason Redman also in defence during game play, Lewis Hayes looked settled and comfortable in defence.Â
Nick Hind assisted with ball transition from half-back during match simulation.Â
Zach Merrett was the main target receiving the ball as the outlet player at stoppage/clearance match simulation.Â
Ben Hobbs, Will Setterfield, Jye Caldwell, Darcy Parish were inside mids used then assisted with ball movement away from stoppages.Â
Nic Martin held his position in an outside wing type role for most of match simulation.Â
Jade Gresham’s starting position with the ball in defence was at the wing position and assisted with ball transition into F50.Â
