Sam Docherty Role

AFLRATINGS NEWS: Sam Docherty has confirmed that he’ll play a similar role through the midfield in 2024 (via Mitch Cleary). 

This will also include stints across half-back, wing and half-forward moving positions to suit team requirements.

Docherty played extended minutes through the midfield late in 2023, the return of Zac Williams also provides more flexibility for the Carlton coaching staff to use Docherty where needed. 

Docherty averaged 25.5 disposals, 6.0 marks and 3.9 tackles from 23 games in 2023.
