He has undergone hip surgery after experiencing soreness for most of this year (via Port Adelaide).

Jackson is expected to be sidelined for 16-18 weeks.Â
“He needed a bit of a clean out, he’s had a little bit of trouble with that hip over the last probably month to probably before Christmas.”
“So, they went and had a look and there was a bit of work to be done to clean it out and it’ll be a few months.” Port Adelaide assistant coach Josh Carr.
