AFLRATINGS NEWS: There is further clarity on the role for Nat Fyfe this season.Â
Fremantle Senior coach Justin Longmuir confirmed this week that they will play an extra midfielder after trialling it over the pre-season (via Nine Ent).Â
He added that some players that are used through the midfield will need to find a secondary position to maintain their game minutes.Â

Players mentioned in this discussion were Andrew Brayshaw, Caleb Serong and Nat Fyfe.Â
Longmuir went on to say that Fyfe may spend time forward for a rest at times which will be something that is considered and evolve throughout the season.Â
He finished by saying that Fyfe could play deep forward, half forward and after a discussion with him a wing spot.Â
These adjustments for Fremantle are only to maintain playing time with the use of an extra midfielder and are not direct positional moves.Â
