Injury Update: Nick Watson

AFLRATINGS NEWS: Nick Watson was assessed for an ankle concern on Monday. 

He was assisted from the ground late in Q4 and did not return as the game concluded.

Hawthorn confirmed on Tuesday that Watson will miss 4-6 weeks. 

“Fortunately in Nick’s case, he won’t require surgery on his ankle,” 

“He’ll spend the next period in a moonboot to allow his ligaments to heal before we begin loading him up again.”

“At this stage we think he’ll be out 4 to 6 weeks, but will continually reassess this during his rehab period.” Hawthorn Head Doctor Liam West.
