Senior coach Sam Mitchell said following the game there was no break involved but Day will undergo further assessment to confirm the severity of the injury.Â
Day will miss Round 24 with a partial dislocation of the joint between his sternum and collarbone (Mitch Cleary on Monday).Â
“He will start running later this week and start moving which will be great, we can get him going again. Beyond that, we’ll reassess the football participation but we need to complete this week’s game first.” Hawthorn High Performance Manager Peter Burge.
